Well, you’re not really going to meet them in the normal sense. Unfortunately, we can’t reveal their identities.
But that’s because these people are the best – and we know that from experience.
We’re talking about our partners who are always at the ready – the Incident Response Team – in the highly unlikely event that a UBX Cloud client suffers a cybersecurity incident.
We haven’t used the Incident Response Team a lot because we’re that good at prevention. But we can never be so arrogant as to think preparation is unnecessary. If one of our clients do suffer an attack, we’re not going to say, “Gee, sorry, we have no plans for this scenario because we never thought it would happen.”
So we have a team.
They don’t work in our office. We don’t even know where they hide out (they won’t tell us . . .), but we do know how to reach them if they’re needed.
And here’s what they do when they swing into action:
First, they perform a detailed investigation of how the threat actors got in, and they match that information with their existing profiles of threat groups. These guys know the players, and their file of bad-guy profiles is as deep as it is detailed.
They then begin the critical work of remediation – getting your operations fully restored while making sure that internal IT teams and MSPs are involved every step of the way.
It’s not just a matter of turning everything back on, and that’s where their expertise is so critical.
Our Incident Response Team understands the sensitive nature of breaches, data extortions and ransomware situations – just to name a few. They know the exact steps that need to be taken, as well as the landmines that must be avoided.
These guys are good.
They’re no-nonsense as well. They have to be! They know that time is of the essence and they don’t take prisoners when they swoop in to eliminate the threat and the potential damage. A couple times they made us feel a bit intimidated – but then we called in our own enforcer Anthony and we felt a little better.
The Incident Response Team is just the group of pros you want on your side if you find yourself facing a cyber incident. They’ll stop at nothing to make things right for you – quickly – and the threat actors can’t disappear fast enough when they realize who they’re dealing with.
So rest assured: The UBX Cloud cybersecurity team and our tech stack make it highly unlikely you will ever need to come in contact with the Incident Response Team.
But if the unimaginable happens, they’re ready. And they’re bad-ass.
